🐭🌸 Freesia Mouse — finished!

Another little mouse has made her way into my collection, this time tucked amongst delicate Freesia flowers 💜

I absolutely love drawing these tiny characters surrounded by flowers — there’s something about the combination that just feels very me.

Coloured pencil, lots of tiny details, and an unreasonable amount of time spent on petals 😂

Now the question is… which mouse and flower combination comes next? 👀

✨ A little milestone for Edwina T Art! ✨

I’m so excited to say that I am now stocked at Art Junction in Chatham! 💜

You’ll find a selection of my handmade polymer clay jewellery, along with bookmarks, coasters and stickers.

It’s been a bit nerve-wracking seeing everything displayed on a real shop shelf, but I’m incredibly proud to have my work alongside so many talented local artists and makers.

🥔✨ Meet the Potato Animals! ✨🥔

Sometimes the best ideas start with a doodle…

These little potato-shaped animals have completely taken over my sketchbook, and I can’t stop painting them! From foxes and hedgehogs to Highland cows, puffins, penguins and bees, each one is painted by hand with watercolour and a lot of personality.

They’re simple, a little bit silly, and designed to make people smile.

I’m hoping to grow the collection (although I’m still working on the dogs! 😂), and I’d love to know…

I completed course on .academy this week.
I finally learnt how to use my Neocolour II Aquarelle crayons!
I loved learning all the different techniques, and drawing Elina’s George the Leopard 🙂

I have now created Douglas the Dachshund, who is slightly sceptical about life, but likes to wear a bow tie at all times 🤣

I started working on this whilst recovering from an operation.
The texture and colour of the petals was so therapeutic to draw. The little mouse hiding in the tulip is too cute 🥰
