Family Reunited with Legendary Harold Beart's Historic Racing Morgan
An emotional chapter in British motorsport history was celebrated as Caroline Byrne, the great-niece of renowned racing driver Harold Beart, was reunited with her great-uncle's historic racing car following its painstaking restoration.
Caroline, who was born in Devon, spent many years living in the Cotswolds before emigrating to New Zealand 15 years ago. She travelled to see the completed restoration after her family learned that the project was nearing completion.
Speaking after seeing the car for the first time, Caroline described the experience as overwhelming.
"I'm absolutely blown away by it. I can't explain how exciting it is to actually see this car."

Through determined research, Caroline's niece was eventually able to trace the vehicle and make contact with its restorer, leading to the family's long-awaited reunion with this significant piece of motoring heritage.
The restoration has not only returned a remarkable racing car to its former glory but has also reconnected the Beart family with an important part of their own history.
