IMPORTANT NOTICE.. RECLAIMED PRODUCTS MAY SHOW SIGNS OF BEING RECAIMED!

If you enjoy saving £4 on a new scaffold board by dragging hundreds of reclaimed ones out of a carefully stacked pile, searching for one that has spent years being thrown around building sites but is somehow still in perfect condition. Then leave the yard looking like it has been raided by the police with 3 hours work for us to put it all back as it was in the scorching heat... then Ross Reclamation has got you!

Please report to the scaffold board section immediately. It is located beside the shipping container that smells faintly of corpses.

Reclaimed boards may show signs of being reclaimed.

Boards without marks, splits, nail holes, stains, dents, weathering or evidence of ever having been used are available in our new scaffold board section. They cost £4 more.

No appointment necessary. 👍

NEW STOCK DROP ALERT! Lots of Indian treasure has landed!

Is your garden looking a bit too sensible and tidy? Why not create some rustic Indian drama and add a proper pop of colour?

We’ve just had a fresh delivery of Indian pots, planters, kadai fire bowls, troughs and barrels. Big ones, small ones, brightly painted ones and battered ones. All of them look like they have lived a far more exciting life than the staff at Ross Reclamation.

Use them as planters, water features, fire bowls or garden storage. Or just buy one because it looks brilliant, then spend the next six months moving it around your house and garden because your other half hates it.

Every piece is different, most are one-offs & none of them could be described as boring.

A customer just bought a huge galvanised trough before we could take a photo of it. Tool!

ROSS RECLAMATION
A LOCAL YARD FOR LOCAL PEOPLE

If you, like Quasimodo, enjoy a good bit of bell ringing... why not pop into Ross Reclamation to dismantle a pallet of 500 perfectly good hand sorted reclaimed Welsh slates while tapping each one with a 50p piece?

Because we understand that after spending decades keeping the rain out, every slate must now ring like a priceless Ming vase before it can be allowed back on a roof.

Please take your time. We have nothing else to do & genuinely love watching hours of careful (soul destroying) sorting and stacking annihilated by somebody who has seen three episodes of Antiques Roadshow so is an expert in acoustic slate testing.

You may occasionally hear a dull thud. This doesn't necessarily mean the slate is faulty. It may simply mean that it is a 100-year-old roofing slate and not a priceless Chinese vase......or the Saturday girl is repeatedly banging her head against a shipping container.

For a fuller ringing experience, why not pop up to St Mary’s Church and have a pull on their bells?

No filming for Antiques Roadshow without prior permission.

⚠️ IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO LOCAL BUILDERS ⚠️

You absolute WEAPONS!

Please stop sending your apprentice in for 6ft of fallopian tubing. We actually have work to do.
We do not have time to babysit Tyler while he stands by the scaffold boards slowly losing the will to live.

We don't sell grinding sparks. We've run out of spirit level bubbles. The skirting board ladders are on back order. And Michael isnt lending out his left handed screwdriver.

Please come and collect your apprentice.
He's waiting for a long stand.....hes been here 45 minutes and starting to ask questions.

💪 An Ode to Welsh Slate 💪

There once was a pile of old slate,
That came through the reclamation yard gate.
It had sat on a roof,
Being weatherproof,
And generally earning its rate.

It battled the wind and the rain,
Got dragged down and stacked up again.
Now it sits in our yard,
Looking moody and hard,
Cos it's seen your crap parking again.

It’s uneven and mossy & grey,
But builders still love it that way.
Because new slate is fine,
But reclaimed has a spine,
And a price that won't ruin your day.

So if reclaimed slate makes you stare,
Which, weirdly, isn’t that rare,
Come and have a look,
We’ll help load your truck,
Bring measurements or we'll tear out our hair.

Bored of navigating the slow trolleys in Morrisons while losing the will to live? Why not go behind Morrisons and come and swelter in our yard instead?

Admittedly, it’s hotter, dustier, and there’s absolutely no air con, but on the plus side, no one will block an entire aisle while deciding between two identical cucumbers.

You can still wander around looking confused, but you’re far more likely to leave with something odd, useful, beautiful, completely unnecessary, or impossible to explain to your other half.

We’ve got reclaimed slates, bricks, flagstones, sleepers, chimney pots, troughs, planters, statues, architectural salvage, garden bits, oddities, useful stuff, not-so-useful stuff, and plenty of treasure you didn’t need until you see it. We’ve also got a great dog!

Stock changes all the time, so it’s always worth a wander.
Bring measurements if you’re organised. Don’t bring measurements if you enjoy making life difficult for yourself. You never know what you didn’t need. We’ve absolutely got it..and more!
