Just the prettiest May day, filled with the softest pastel tones and the sweetest scented peonies.

I always encourage my couples to share any flowers that hold a special meaning to them. For Katrina, it was especially important to honour her Grandma, Marguerite, a name commonly associated with a beautiful variety of daisy.

Of course, they had to be included, and honestly, how perfectly do they complement this pastel palette?

There’s just something so ridiculously gorgeous about them....delicate little clusters of flowers scattered across a table making everything feel soft, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.

They are a definite favourite to make and I'm delighted to have another 60 to sprinkle with flowers for this weeks super pretty wedding! 🌸

Nothing other than the prettiest pastels for Charlotte & Jack who married last Saturday .priory

From our very first conversation, Charlotte’s vision was an absolute dream to bring to life.

Soft, romantic and overflowing with delicate detail. Each floral variety was specifically chosen to bring the true essence of spring indoors.

Last week was spent immersed in the most scrumptious pastel palette, designing floral pieces filled with some of my forever favourites....dainty cosmos, ditsy forget-me-nots, the most divine peonies and layers of beautifully delicate ranunculus.

Totally and utterly obsessed with this special day and what an incredible team they chose 👇🏻

Oh my dayyyys…how dreamy has the sunshine been this last couple of days?! ☀️🌸

I’m doing my very best not to get distracted by it while I’m tucked away on the laptop (the struggle is real I'm not going to lie 😂).

Behind the scenes, it’s full steam ahead carefully planning and finalising all my beautiful June, July and August weddings in between the magic of the current ones.

It always surprises people just how much love, time, and detail goes into everything before a single stem is even ordered, let alone arrives in my workshop.

I’m currently working through July, so if you haven’t heard from me yet your email is coming soon 💌

Designing your floral “recipes” is one of my absolute favourite parts on the admin side…..although I’ll admit, I’m far too impatient, it always makes me wish I could bring everything to life right there and then.

I'm so excited to have so many stunning colour palettes in the works though, and I genuinely can’t wait to share them with you.

Keep an eye on my stories for a few little sneak peeks post wedding days.

I've also had a little flurry of 2028 enquiries over the last week which is all very exciting. So I'll be meeting and chatting all things flowery with new couples too.

For now, it's back to the laptop while trying not to look outside!

BUT WHY?

Always burn (or scald with boiling water) the end of the stems after a fresh cut. Unfortunately these beautiful ladies become a little temperamental without this extra step!

By burning (or scalding) it prevents the thick milky sap from leaking out. The sap quickly clogs the stem, restricting water intake, which causes early wilting. Sealing the stems ensures better hydration and can significantly extend their vase life.

FACT 👌🏻🙌🏻🧡 real beauty is time well spent and the flowers that need the most care often give the most beauty!
