M1 Junction 32 to M18 Junction 1 Bramley Interchange Link Roads –resurfacing of the northbound M1-M18 link road and bridge joint replacement to Penny Brampton and Brampton Road bridges.
We’ll soon resurface, adding new road markings and studs, two M1-M18 link roads north of Aston, South Yorkshire, for safer and smoother journeys. At the same time, within the same road closure, we will replace bridge joints on two bridges that carry the northbound link roads over the M1 motorway.
We aim to start work on Tuesday, 26 September, until early December, working under full road closures, Monday to Friday, 9 pm –6 am each night (or 10 pm to 5 am, depending on which diversion is used). During the daytime, the road will be open to traffic.
Any programme changes due to weather conditions will be shared on social media and via our website.
Fully signed diversions agreed in advance with the local authority and police will be in place.
