Today’s the day! Scotland get to start their World Cup adventures and we will be cheering them on.
Don’t fall asleep and miss a magic moment!

If there’s one thing we know about coffee, it is a sure fire way to keep yourself up late, so come grab a bag to make sure you can stay awake for the late games and early mornings!

We have freshly roasted bags hof beans that we grind right here to make sure you have it all ready to load in your Cafetiere or your Filter Machine, or maybe you’re an Aeropresser or enjoy a stovetop Mockapot brew?

An article from The Buteman Newspaper in 1856, highlighting the then (and still) urgent need for entertainment for our ‘overweening youths’…..1856 was a very long time ago.
Finally, now in 2026, a team have come together to develop ‘Adventure Lane’ just along the road from us here on Castle Street. We’d love you to come sign our petition to show support for it’s future!

This week is the last before our Summer team assemble! That will mean back to 7 days open with longer opening times and some evening events back on the calendar.

But before then, we are going to close tomorrow, Tuesday, to rest and recharge after what has been a super busy holiday weekend.

Hope you were lucky enough to get a ticket to tomorrow’s showcase as it has SOLD OUT!
Will be lovely to have some acoustic tunes in the Courtyard and we look forward to welcoming you all to Press.

Windy day on Bute, but much more sheltered in our courtyard here at press.

Our local ferns are unfurling in the sunshine and our plants are starting to fill in their new spots thanks to our lovely gardener.
You can give her a wave if you see her working away in there 👋
