I was up Early this morning I thought I would make a start on something special for the Geddington Summer Fete 2026 .

When I saw this image and thought it was cute so i made a little thing.

so next month we will be at Geddington Summer Fete 2026

And I asked if I can make some personalised items for the event, they have kindly allowed me to get creative, I thought about maybe the duck race. currently I am looking make something bespoke and one off for someone to take home and enjoy.

While I find all I need to make something special I thought I would experiment with ideas, I have ideas in my head, I was recently told to embrace the future and ask AI to design it for you.

Being of the older generation I like to pick and choose what I put into my designs so this is a bit like witch craft. but out of interst to see if i can explain what I want and if AI can understand what im asking from it............

5th atempt wasnt so bad. Will it change the way I do things? No but it was intresting to see how it changed my words to an image.

Now lets see what i can do to make something for the day

After a plesent day at Creaton in bloom. I have been working things in the background with reguards to an on line shop (more to come on that soon as i get things done)

the last of my planed events i am now booked in and looking forward to it Marston Steam & Vintage Show we will be in the craft tent this year.

Next event will be Desborough Carnival and Fete come see us and say hi.

A few items made for next sunday at Creaton in Bloom . I have made one of each. More can be pre ordered should you wish to.collect them on the day .

Both mug images can be put on a 12oz tin cup or they can be put on a 11oz China nug. Get in touch before friday the 5th to order.

Coasters can also have one or the other designs on them.

The chunky spalt oak coaster will also be be there. The unfinished live edge ash board is a work in progress. It may be finished by the time we get to the day.

The money box is a one off. I wont repeat the item as I love to make one of a kind or personalised items, thet are for your pleasure.

Today i went out to visit a wood supplier and im happy to report back that i can now supply various wood types, stock providing.

The wood the company supply is not only uk wood but it is from around the northamptonshier/cambridgshire area.

i have purchased some cuts of wood to start showing off how nice this wood is at events to see if it insrests you.

After a brilliant day with The Cube Disability we now settle down to get ready for the next exciteing event in two weekends time Creaton in Bloom im mid way to making the new 2026 items for the day, sneak peek of the new designs to come.

While it was cool enough last night I made a few wine and nibbles boards for today at brixworth cricket ground.

Its a 21x15 board that has a recess to fit a stem glass ideal for parties so you have a free hand for greeting or snacking while on the go.

I lightly sanded the wood before engraving. I then cleaned and sealed the board with a food safe oil.

I have may designs that can be engraved on the board , I also have diffrent clip art that can be used with the words you wish to personalise the board with.
