Would you believe that all these candles are just to test 2 different scents.

There is so much more work and science that goes into candle making that I ever knew! From wicks to pools and flame height, every failed attempt educates me and I am loving it.

Wax Melts are a lot harder to get to grips with than I thought, over the last 4 years I’ve tested 6 different kinds of wax, hundreds of fragrance oils, and don’t even get me started on battling the elements to prevent frosting 😂❄️

It’s so nice to be able to look back at how I used to make them and see how I’ve grown. I remember when I used to find it hard to make 20 and now I think my record was 230 in one day, has anyone else managed to turn their hobby into a business?

Thank you so much for being the most incredibly supportive people. I genuinely can’t believe there are 500 of you here. ❤️

First and foremost, I’ll always be a reader. My love of books is what inspired me to start Once Upon A Scent in the first place, and being able to combine my love of reading with my little business is something I’ll never take for granted. 📚✨

What started as a hobby in my spare room has slowly grown into something I never imagined… and now I’ve got until the end of the year to try and make this my full-time job. 🥹🤞✨
