I stand here in the corner light,

A simple chair of oak and might.

But right beside me, worn and low,

Sits another chair I know.

With wear and tear upon its seat,

Where generations come to meet,

And its worn old arms seem to speak

Of childhood games of hide-and-seek.

A quiet chair upon the rug,

It holds its history safe, and snug.

... The Gnome ...

A small figure steeped in folklore and myth, sent to us to look after our gardens and farms.

So much history to these little fellas, it's most certainly worth looking up.

This particular one spent his life in the depths of Northumberland tending to the land for over 80 years and now could be yours.

... Thanks for having us ...

While some people told me it was their worst fair ever, I was having my second best fair ever ( I'd only done 1 prior. ).

So remember while some people are going through their worst moments in life that there're others going through their best, no matter how similar those experiences are, it's all about perspective.

Thanks for having us Arthur Swallow Fairs Ripley
