It is with great sadness that I am here to announce that Dyed In The Wool Yarns will be closing down at the end of 2025.
It’s not a decision I have come to lightly and there are a number of reasons I have decided to close.
Small businesses everywhere are struggling. With rising overheads, a decline in sales, and social media algorithms working against us, it is getting harder to keep going.
Dyed In The Wool has experienced many different challenges. I am also struggling to manage my various commitments including my own mental health and caring for a loved one. It’s getting harder every day to stay motivated, as much as I love being a yarn dyer.
So what does this mean for you?
My website will be open until the end of December. My D&D Yarn club will continue until its end in December. If you want to stock up on any of my colourways you will have until the end of December to do so. There will be no closing down sale - I simply cannot afford it.
At the end of December my website will go down but I’ll keep my social media channels open a bit longer for communications.
Im so grateful to all of you who have followed me, liked my posts and enjoyed my hand dyed yarn. I have loved being part of the yarn/knitting community and will continue to be part of it. If you want to follow me after I’ve closed, you will find me on Instagram.
