Be Bougie began with an amazing discovery in Japan - THE most incredible sustainable tote bag.

One that stretches to any shape, carries up to 10kg with ease, and shrinks back to pocket size when empty - beautifully crafted in stunning designs, using the ancient shibori technique.

They last forever (well none of them have worn out yet!) and because they automatically shrink back you ALWAYS have them with you. No more fiddly folding, no bulky bags for life, whilst reducing wasteful plastic bags or cotton totes that spoil as soon as they’re dirty and end up in landfill, (ours are machine washable) with the future in mind, for our children and grandchildren.
