SWAG Section now in the Bunker

This is very much a 'work in progress' addition to the shop. Im awaiting more shelves and will produce a funky new sign soon. Creator names will also be added on every piece in due course

Swag is custom made items given out for free at events/meets etc. The time, cost & effort of some are quite extra ordinary and often tends to be forgotten about soon after. So here is a place where examples can be preserved!

There are loads more to be added in the coming weeks so watch this space. Can you spot yours?

FREE TAT!!

One of the most surprising things about running a shop is the amount of stuff people donate. I've made sure its all been distributed back out to our customers for free.

So the latest donation was a box of Rogue 1 3D glasses on Saturday. Come down to shop and get your FREE-D glasses now!

Big thank you to the guy who brought them in, sadly I didn't catch his name. Also, great the Bunker so busy at weekend! Thank you to all that came, It's great to be back 😍

The Bunker is Back Open!

The Bunker was back open today after 6 weeks closed. The time off was seriously needed, however the past 2 have been extremely busy changing the layout. I honestly thought it would take around 4 days, but got that seriously wrong ha! All worth it now as it's looking considerably better.

Martyn & Adam from A Long & Long time ago YouTube Channel where filming at shop on Friday. The video will be out next week highlighting all the changes and new stock. Then a week after there is a behind the scenes special. Both will be posted on Facebook & Insta pages once released. Thank you for your support!

New features in the shop are

Upstairs
2 new large cabinets replacing old ones
Extra counter at front
Radiator at back removed for more carded TVC
Fully re-stocked vintage cabinets
Over 100 new Lego mini-figures added
Mini-rig stand
Swag Station (This will be on a separate post)

Downstairs
3 middle isle gondolas added
Disabled access re-opened after renovation
Fully re-stocked with new lines added
All carded figures & Loose in one place

Please note, new opening hours are

Wed 12pm - 4pm
Thu 12pm - 4pm
Fri 12pm - 4pm
Sat 10.30am - 4pm

The shop is now closed for 6 weeks and will re-open on Saturday 25th July (10.30am - 4pm). The doors opened 29th Nov last year and I've never looked back since! The response to the shop has been absolutely incredible with many of you travelling from a far, far distance away (see what I did there). Unfortunately though, I have run myself into the ground somewhat and badly need a rest. I've been working 7 days a week (most weeks) since it's opened but it's totally worth it now. The 6 weeks isn't all rest though...

I'll be spending 3 weeks improving the shop for your return. There will be 2 new large cabinets added upstairs and a full re-stock of the old cabinets. Downstairs will be adjusted to make it slightly more 'aesthetically pleasing' along with many new products added. More importantly though, disabled access downstairs will be open again. This has been temporarily blocked off due to renovation works

When we do re-open please note the shop will be open Wed/Thurs/Fri 12pm - 4pm & Saturday 10.30pm - 4pm. Sundays have been excellent overall but I need 1 day off!

There will also be some new features added into the shop which will be disclosed prior to opening. I'll be going quiet now for next 2-3 weeks but I cannot thank you all enough for the overwhelming support in such a short space of time!

There will be a new shop tour available week commencing 27th July highlighting all the new features courtesy of the much loved gents

Opening day 29th November & May 4th

Now two legendary days for The Bunker! After one year of renovating, the doors opened late 2025. Despite the popularity of Star Wars, there was no guarantee a shop would work in this internet age. However all my doubts where cast aside that day. The shop was absolutely jam packed Saturday & Sunday, a truly ncredible response from you all

6 months on May 4th was here. A marker to see how far the shop had come. It was busier than opening! Fantastic to see all the smiles and happy faces on everyone. Long may it continue!

In the last week in April we had our first international visitor. Cory Johnson from Boston, Massachusetts! An incredible journey to the Bunker!

The business has been running 10 years with an extremely strong international customer base. To have someone I've never dealt with before to walk in was quite something!

Since his visit I've had also had Martjn from Netherlands 🇳🇱 visit (but forgot to take a pic, duh!)

The Bunker will be closing for 6 weeks after this Sunday. This your your last weekend to get your Star Wars fix! Shop will re-open on Saturday 25th July

Sunday night will be a more detailed post on whats going on during this time. Shop improvements coming!

In the meantime, I'll be posting up about few of my favorite memories of the past 6 months. It's been an incredible start and can't thank you all enough!
