Greetings all, we are hiring!
Due to staff retirements at the end of last year, Wrights Mowers are looking for two people to fill full time vacancies, to join our friendly team.
1. Workshop vacancy for servicing and repairing mowers and other horticultural machines, and for assembling and preparing new machines ready for sale.
2. Retail and general admin position for selling machinery and tools in the shop, together with associated invoicing and customer services. Knowledge of Sage 50 accounting system and general computer skills an advantage.
Core working time Monday - Friday 8.30 - 6 with some weekend work either with time in lieu, or as paid overtime.

Lockdown update 5.1.21
Following government guidelines, we have made some changes to our working practise here at Wrights Mowers.
As a service and repair centre we are allowed to continue working for the moment. You may still bring your machinery in for repair, but please ring in advance on 01763 263393 to make out your address label, so that when you arrive we can have a contactless handover.
Spare parts may be slower to arrive, so please be patient for collection.
There will be no admission to the shop, but you may still make purchases at the door, just ring the bell.
Thank you for bearing with us in these difficult times. We will do our best to provide a service.
We wish you all the best for the New Year, so take care and stay safe.

Wishing all our lovely customers a Happy Christmas, and with a sincere hope that we all have a better and safer year in 2021.
Thank you all for your support this year. We will continue to try to offer our best service, so please bear with us when our suppliers are closed and certain items are taking longer to obtain than they used to.
Our Christmas hours are as follows :
Closing at 12 on Christmas Eve, reopening, hopefully, on 4 January.

Corona Virus ....... continuing precautions
The shop is open for business, just ring the bell at the door and we allow controlled access so that you can still see our range before making your purchases. Wear your mask, and sanitise your hands. Thank you.

Now that the second lockdown has ended, we are opening on Saturdays again, from 9 - 12, to see what demand there is.

Now that the cutting season has finished, it is an excellent time to bring in your servicing and repairs, so that we can prepare the machines for winter storage, and you will be ready to go as soon as the weather turns warmer next spring.

Christmas presents and stocking fillers all available in store, including gift vouchers.

Corona virus 2nd lockdown, update
From Thursday 5 November we will be working differently again.
The shop will be closed to the public, but we are here and will be offering a phone and collect service.
Come to the car park and phone in on 01763 263393 to say you are there, pay over the phone, and collect your goods from the car park.
We are also accepting machines in for repair and service so you can still bring them in.
As always, conditions will be kept under constant review, as the safety of our staff and customers is our priority.

Hooray......
I am very pleased to say that Wrights Mowers shop will be open for business from Monday 18 May.
Open hours have been shortened slightly to allow us time for cleaning each day, and for us all to adjust to new routines.
Monday to Saturday : 9.30 - 3.30
Closed on Sundays for the time being
All the social distancing rules will apply, so we will only have two people in the shop at a time to look at machinery, and we ask that you limit your time, so that others may come in. Repair machines can be dropped off at the door and labels made without the need to come in, and spares and sundries can be passed out to you.
If you are in the vunerable group and are still shielding, we can still deliver new machines out to you.
It will be good to see you all again, and hope that you have been doing ok in these stressful times.

Corona virus update 22.4.20
Although we are still closed and unable to do repairs, we do still have stocks of new machinery which we can supply. If you need a new garden machine, get in touch via the "contact us" page on our website www.wrightsmowercentre.co.uk. I can still see this at home, and will be able to call you and let you know prices and availability. If you are fairly local, we will be able to deliver out to you, all fueled up and ready to use.
We will do our best to help you if we can.

CORONA VIRUS…..

Hello everyone!

Further update 26.3.20 : Our staff have been working like heroes to get as many machines out to customers as possible, but the time has come to put their safety first, so this is just to say that we will be closing the premises down at 6pm on Friday 27 March 2020, until the government say it is safe to re-open. Until that time there will be no access to supplies.

We thank you for your patience and understanding, and look forward to seeing you again when we come out the other side!
