It’s amazing what a new floor can do 🤩

This living room and hallway have gone from tired, worn carpet to a fresh, modern space that completely changes the feel of the home.

Before any new flooring was laid, we carefully uplifted and disposed of the existing carpet, then took the time to prepare the subfloor properly by priming and smoothing it. It’s the part of the job you never see, but it’s one of the most important steps in achieving a floor that’s built to last.

We then installed Versailles Marseilles Plank, creating a seamless finish that looks beautiful, is easy to maintain, and is perfect for busy family life.

Full House Carpet Transformation 🏡

We always love returning to a finished project! Recently, we caught up with Neil Wise, owner of local estate agency Ensum Brown Royston, to see the final results of a full property renovation by Meraki Renovations completed back in December ‘25.

The goal was to provide high quality, seamless flooring throughout the entire property, and the finished look is absolutely stunning. Here is a breakdown of what we installed:

Lounge & Study: Cormar Fairisle pure wool textured loop pile carpet. It’s beautifully soft yet practical, making it the perfect choice for any modern family home.

The Snooker Room: For a space that sees a lot of foot traffic and action, Neil needed something exceptionally hardwearing. We opted for the Cormar Malabar Textures range to provide maximum durability without sacrificing style.

Upstairs (Landing & 4 Bedrooms): We continued the Cormar Fairisle carpet throughout the upper floor to maintain a cohesive, luxurious look and feel across the whole home.

Fitting carpet on a staircase is always a detailed job, but when that carpet features a strict linear pattern? That takes an entirely different level of craftsmanship.

In this before and after slider, you can see exactly how our expert fitters tackled this tricky installation. The challenge here was ensuring that the lines of the carpet flowed seamlessly and continuously down every single tread, over every riser, and perfectly along the entire stairway. Breaking the pattern on a striped or lined carpet completely disrupts the visual flow, so it requires meticulous measuring, precision cutting, and an absolute eye for detail.

As always, the team executed it flawlessly, delivering a stunning, eye catching staircase that completely elevates the entryway of this home.

Showroom Update

Our showroom transformation is well underway!

The back room is really starting to take shape. New lighting with daylight bulbs are being installed, and our new displays from Harvey Maria and Amtico have arrived.

This room is going to be a beautiful dedicated space for our LVT collections, helping clients view flooring samples in the best possible light.

As work is still ongoing, we won’t be holding a showroom open day this month. However, if you’d like a flooring consultation, we’d love to welcome you by appointment.

Some customers become much more than customers, and Tina is certainly one of them ♥️

We’ve recently returned to fit a beautiful new lounge and study carpet for Tina, this time choosing the stunning Country Retreat Cornfields carpet, finished with brushed chrome door thresholds.

Over the years, we’ve also fitted carpets to Tina’s master and spare bedroom, Karndean flooring to her bathroom, and have always taken care of uplifting and responsibly disposing of her old flooring along the way.
