A big thank you to all who took the time to take our recent magazine surveys and for all your messages letting us know what you love and what you’d like us to consider moving forwards. We’ll be sharing more about our future plans for TOFT’s magazine with subscribers next week, but for now we’re excited to confirm that thanks to your feedback the decision has already been made to continue to print each issue as a hard copy that comes delivered to your door.

However, in further response to your feedback we are delighted to now have completed the digitising of our TOFT Quarterly archive. ALL ten years of magazines with the exception of the current one are now available to purchase as a pdf version and download from our website, including the sell-out favourite editions including patterns for the Frog Bag, Roaming Sampler Blanket and Dalton the Rabbit Figurine!

We are also excited to add a magazine directory on edsanimals.com to help you search through the full archive of TOFT Quarterly patterns.

Day Seven: Part Two

Covering short and long chain loop hair including two alternatives to create pony tails like Thumbelina. Also covering embroidered hair which is great if you’ve not got a lot of yarn to do it with, and then the opposite techniques which are the most labour and yarn intensive - slipped chains and wavy and ringlet hair.

We will edit today’s videos onto our you tube channel over the coming week so you can a refer to all the hairstyle techniques in one place in the future for whichever doll you are making. These videos will also be saved here and can always be accessed video the video tab on our instagram.

Have a lovely Sunday and please share your fairy photos, I can’t wait to see them after today!
