I sincerely applaud those who needle felt realistic pet portraits 🫡 ....it's really hard 😅. This was meant to be a likeness of my first feral cat 'Mummy Cat' (imaginative I know 😏) She was a tiny bundle of fluff and attitude, who made me wait 7 years to stroke her then became a complete softie 😻...as you can see it doesn't really look much like her at all 🤷 The most realistic part is the whiskers, kindly donated by my lovely great-niece Suki 🥰 thank you Chloé Benferhat-Wing 😽😸

A moon gazing hare is an ancient symbol representing fertility, growth, rebirth and good fortune 🤩 it signifies a connection to nature, magic and new beginnings...so I was thrilled to be asked to make this one for a lovely customer 🙏 Thanks to the lovely Emily George of Worcestershire Leveret Rescue for the consult 🥰 and if you like the 'badger moon' (which is the full moon in September/October, so called as traditionally it marks the time when badgers gather bedding to prepare their setts for winter) it is one of a beautiful series of tins created by the talented Emma Satow Art available to buy on her FB page 🦡🦡🦌🦔🦊🐇
