That feeling when the GCSE’s and A-levels are over and the school run is done forever… or perhaps you still have a few years left!

Either way, exams are over and that’s worth celebrating. 🎉

You know when you do something quite a lot, you then get to understand what works well, and I know the staircase at Bourton Hall Wedding Venue VERY well, and one of the questions I'm asked most often is what fresh floral designs can look like in this beautiful space.

This is summer at its boldest! Get your shades on!

Deep blue delphiniums, burnt orange tones, with huge hydrangeas, cornflowers, snapdragons and peonies in the most gorgeous dark cherry-raspberry shade.

When this couple told me their colour palette I knew this wedding was going to make an entrance!

As florists, we often see lots of soft neutrals and blush tones for weddings, so creating something this vibrant was so exciting! A proper colour bomb from start to finish. 💙🧡🩷

I always get a bit excited when I get to do the stairs at Bourton Hall Wedding Venue! It was made for flowers, they sweep up the sides and there’s still loads of room for a wedding gown.. and there is always those friendly lions on guard!

Please take a look at Friday’s flowers for Poppy & Scott, in the Italian room, with sunshine! I love this room, the light, the colours, and of course it opens up right in front of the staircase! Check these out..
