Starting 2025 with a long overdue introduction 😄

Hi, I’m Amanda, the maker and designer behind Cheshire Story Knits!

I learned how to knit six years ago when I made my first project—a cosy blanket for my newborn son. Since then, I’ve been hooked on creating quick, satisfying knits, especially using DK yarn.

When I’m not designing patterns, I balance life as an AAT Level 4 accountancy student by evening and working in a 3PL warehouse by day. Knitting is my creative outlet and source of joy, and now I’m thrilled to share my patterns with you.

Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned knitter, I hope my designs inspire your next project. Let’s create something beautiful together!

We've had a wonderful summer holiday in the sun and the rain. Now waiting patiently for the weather to turn cold so we can go out, wrapped in scarfs with a hot chocolate.
