DB Shoes was founded in 1920 in Northamptonshire, the centre of British shoe manufacturing by identical twins Jack and Bill Denton after returning from the 1st World War. During the 1970’s the Company was at the forefront of manufacturing technology and is indeed the longest established polyurethane injection moulding factory in the world. Today, under the leadership of Charles and David Denton, who are also identical twins, the company specialises in producing a comprehensive range of stylish, wide fitting shoes for ladies and gentleman in up to 7 width fittings ensuring “the perfect fit for wider feet”. No other company offers such choice of style and colour for the wider foot. We are proud of our English heritage and continue to design all our styles in the UK and produce a number of them in our own factory in Rushden, Northamptonshire. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your photos for our "How I Style My DBs" giveaway.

We had some outstanding entries across Facebook, Instagram and email that we're so proud to share with you today!

It's been wonderful to see how our customers style their DBs and the types of activities you love to undertake in them.

We've had a real mix of styling and activities, from Steampunk to occasion wear, for events from climbing the monkey bars right through to riding the Orient Express!

We always say that we try to provide something for everyone and everything. Job done!

Joyful Strides isn't just a tagline for us, we really do live and breathe stylish and comfortable wide-fitting footwear so that our customers can experience such joyful moments without worrying about their feet, and these entries give us such pride that we're living up to our own high expectations. So thank you again.

As always, we randomly selected our winner from these fabulous entries - which we're glad about because there's no way we could have picked any one entry out of these wonderful submissions.

Without further ado, we are pleased to announce Lynn Turton as our lucky winner! Lynn shared her holiday snap, proudly wearing our Cockatoo wedge trainers, with her daughter at the Lost Gardens in Wales, sporting jeans and a casual tunic.
