So… what actually is a Wonder Gathering?
I’ve been sharing little glimpses over the last couple of weeks - painting, music, stories, maps, strange objects, bits of landscape and the occasional hat… and now I want to explain a little more about what I’m making.
The Wonder Gatherings are difficult to put neatly into a box - deliberately so.
They’re part concert, part story, part art, part reflection… and partly something you have to experience.
I’ll be bringing together many of the threads that have run through my work for years: original songs and live music, storytelling, painting and drawing, nature, myth, lived experience, conversation, imagination and the simple act of noticing.
And I’ll be your guide through it all.
The first gathering is An Atlas of Wonder, taking place over three dates at the Dreamatorium in Ruthin this November.
Over this week I’m going to open the door a little wider and show you what to expect.
