A little advance notice for Claus Chronicles readers...

Tomorrow evening (Thur July 30th) at 6:30 pm (UK time), I'll finally be revealing the next adventure in the Claus Chronicles and opening pre-orders on the website.

As with previous releases, every pre-order will be signed, and the first 100 orders will also receive a numbered and signed limited-edition print.

I know many of you like to get in early, so I wanted to give everyone a fair heads-up before they become available.

I'll share all the details and the link here tomorrow evening, along with sending an email to those who are subscribed.

📖 I have a confession to make...
I have always been slightly obsessed with notebooks. In fact, slightly is probably the wrong word...My shelves are filled with them!

Every Christmas story I've ever written, every new book idea, every sketch for the shop, every product design and every page from The Christmas Imaginarium has usually begun life inside a notebook.

There's something rather magical about opening a completely blank page and wondering where it might eventually lead.
Which is probably why one of my favourite places in Santa's Village has always been The North Pole Stationer.

Papita, who has looked after the Stationer for almost four hundred years, knows my weakness all too well.

Then, one morning, as I unlocked The Christmas Imaginarium, I discovered a beautifully wrapped parcel waiting quietly by the door, sealed with the familiar crest of The North Pole Stationer.
Inside were the most beautiful handcrafted journals I had ever seen, together with a short note from Papita explaining that they had been specially commissioned for me featuring The Christmas Imaginarium.

✨ It made me wonder...

🎄 A little Christmas question...

Claire and I have noticed something that makes us a little sad.

It seems that fewer Christmas cards are being sent each year.

We know life is busier than it used to be, but we can't help feeling that there is something rather magical about opening an envelope in December and finding a beautiful Christmas card waiting inside.

To us, a Christmas card has never simply been a card.

It's a little act of kindness.

A reminder that somebody was thinking of you.

There are some places that never quite leave your heart.

This picture is of the original Christmas Imaginarium and our adventure in bricks and mortar retail began with this little shop.

Every display was built by hand. Every shelf was painted by hand.

Every corner was filled one piece at a time with the hope of creating somewhere that felt a little bit magical.

We spent countless hours designing, building, painting and dreaming within these walls. It wasn't the biggest shop in the world, but it was ours, and it was where the journey truly began.

Over the years something wonderful happened.

More and more people found us.

Families returned year after year.

Children who first visited holding their parents' hands now return as adults.

The little shop became busier than we could ever have imagined.

Eventually, it simply became too small to hold all the wonderful people who wanted to visit, and so The Christmas Imaginarium moved to its current home.

But whenever I look at photographs like this, I'm reminded that every great adventure starts somewhere.

This little shop was our beginning.

And for that, I shall always be grateful.

Over recent months, I have spent many hours revisiting old notebooks, records and discoveries gathered throughout my years as the Official Biographer to Santa Claus.

Along the way, it became clear that many of these stories deserved a home of their own.

So, deep within The Christmas Imaginarium, a growing archive has begun to appear.

A place where visitors can explore stories, festive lore and hidden discoveries from the world of Santa's Village.

The lives of the Elves.

Ancient North Pole traditions.

The reindeer.

Forgotten festive customs.

Hidden places.

Remarkable discoveries.

Every few weeks, new stories and discoveries will be added for visitors to explore freely.

🎄✨ The Christmas Imaginarium Reopens This Saturday – 21st March ✨🎄

After its quiet winter rest, the doors of The Christmas Imaginarium will open once again this Saturday.

For the past few months the shop has slept peacefully after the great bustle of Christmas — the shelves resting, the lights dimmed, and the magic patiently waiting for the next chapter to begin.

But now the time has come to awaken it once more.

From 10am on Saturday morning, we return to our usual year-round opening, and I will be there myself working the first shift of the year, which I am very much looking forward to.

It will be wonderful to welcome customers old and new back through the doors over the coming year and to share a little year-round Christmas magic once again.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It truly means the world to us.
