A few little bowls for my home, I only realised when I saw the photos they remind me of eyes....
I've got a thing about round bottoms on bowls, did you know a lot of ancient/indigenous pottery had curved bases? Back when we sat on the ground more, the rounded bowls would sit nicely on the soil or grass, all this flat planed furniture is relatively a modern concept. I just like how tactile they are when held in the palm of my hand. They probably annoy my boys though, wobbly around on the worktop, but that doesn't generally stop me! I'm just playing with ideas at the mo to reignite my creativity a bit. Hope you're having a good weekend, are you finding yourself flagging at the mo? I'm still a bit knocked out, blood test tomorrow to find out what wrong this time. Been a lovely week of plums and apples boiling away in the kitchen and finally eating a few tomatoes straight from the plant.
