Oh my goodness, what a busy day it was. Summer holiday is definitely here. We love seeing how happy the sunshine makes people feel.
The bench across the road was full of people, families, just munching on goodies from Martina's and we thank you all for the fantastic support.
The next week is the big one....
The one and only St.Agnes Carnival on Saturday 1st August.
Do not miss the best day of the year and there's still time for you to enter the Carnival itself..

When you work for yourself and you're your own boss, you know that you do the job well and sometimes you create things, which look great and secretly, you have a little dance somewhere in the corner being pleased with yourself. There's nobody to praise you that you're doing a good job.
So hearing from customers that they enjoy your products is wonderful.
Getting a nice review or a long email about how amazing your cake was, literally makes my day.
Thank you everyone for your support. It means a lot 🙂

All cakes are £2 each today, we're open till 2.30pm.
We are CLOSED from tomorrow till Wednesday, the 4th of March due to a family wedding up in the "Thistle" country.
And no, I'm not getting married 😂😂
unless my husband has sold me off to someone else.😎

Happy New Year to all of you gorgeous people.
And just like that, the winter break is over and we will be opening on Thursday 22nd January at 9.30am -2.30pm.

Really looking forward to seeing you all and catching up. I'm sure you'll have plenty of stories to entertain me with.😎

I am going to have another little break at the end of February as my little sister is getting married up in Scotland and that's not something I would miss for the world.

Other than that business as usual.

Regarding the sale of my business. I have just had a meeting with Paul from Goundrys and as well as trying to sell the business and ground premises as before, there is an opportunity now to buy just the lease without the freehold.

I will be here till someone new comes along so you can still enjoy the pasties, pastries and cakes as normal until then🙂🙂.

The only thing I'm sad about is that the Christmas decorations had to come down.
Well, not long now...🤣🤣

We have a winner of my small Christmas cake from the late night shopping draw.
I was trying to be authentic by creating a video but had to cut it shorter as I didn't want to reveal the winner's phone number. I made it too complicated although I'm sure there is a simpler way 🤣🤣
