I had quite a bit of the Yarnsmiths Create DK yarn, left over after the ripple blanket so I decided to do another blanket. This time using the Cosy Stripe pattern by Attic24. I went with doing four rows of each colour instead of the two rows of each and I am pleased with how it is coming along.

Finished the little Ripple baby blanket. It’s a suitable size for a pram/pushchair or Moses basket. I used Yarnsmiths Create DK yarn in White, Rose pink, Light pink and Parchment.
It worked up beautifully and it has a simple border made up of half double crochet stitches and double crochet and finished off with the reverse single crochet/Crab stitch.

Needed a break from the cross stitching and wanted something new to do whilst I wait for some other yarn to finish my Moss stitch blanket.
So I’m trying my hand at a ripple blanket in a lovely colour combo I’ve seen many times and loved. 😍

Still fairly new to the whole crochet scene. So many things to try!

I will get back onto the cross stitching soon. Many new designs still to test stitch. 🥰
