I will be taking a break from this account to focus on other commitments having been reusing, repairing and upcycling for around five years while trying to spread the word about slow fashion and thrifting. The number of people interested in upcycling and repair continues to grow.

Thank you to all the inspiring people who are doing what they can to make a difference and keep things out of landfill!

** STALLHOLDER HIGHLIGHTS – SUNDAY 5th MARCH**

Our first market of 2023 is this coming Sunday, 5th March, and we can’t wait to welcome back all our fantastic stallholders and customers. We have lots our long standing stallholders booked in – and also lots of new stalls booked to attend. We thought you might like to see some of the businesses who will be with us for the March market this Sunday.

Upcycled Living UK will be at the next Hemel Old Town market with upcycled and vintage clothes, homewares and accessories including jackets and hats.

Market stalls are located:
Under the arches on the High Street
In the ground of St Mary’s Church
Inside the Church Hall
On St Mary’s square

Toilet facilities are available inside the Church Hall and on St Mary’s Square. Parking can be found at the Marchmont Arms end of the High Street or in Gadebridge Park (just a 2 minute stroll from the market ground – look up and head for the Church Spire – you can’t miss it!)

Although vehicle access along the High Street is restricted by Dacorum Borough Council, please don’t let that put you off.

Our resident DJ Pete Braithwaite will be playing his usual mix of music alongside our hot food traders on the square and of course, many of the coffee shops and businesses up and down the High Street will be open on the day too.

Our Community Partners will have stalls inside St Mary’s Church this month too.
