Dear Fellow Artist
You know that feeling?
You wake up early. You pack your pieces carefully. You set up your table. You smile all day. And day wasn’t warm at all , despite May 10th.
And you already priced everything honestly. Just enough to cover your resin. Your pigments. Your frames. You did not even count your hours because you love what you do.
Then someone walks by. Once. Twice. Third time they stop and ask
“Can you do almost 40 percent off?”
Forty percent. Off a price that was already barely covering your materials.
And you stayed kind. You offered fifteen percent. You explained the frame alone cost this much. The materials cost that much. You were patient and gracious.
It still was not enough for them.
And that is okay.
Because those are not our people.
Our people understand that behind every piece is a real cost. Real hours. Real love. They don’t ask us to give our work away.
So next time someone lowballs you smile, stand your ground, and remember 👉🏻
You are not just selling art.
You are selling your Sundays, creativity, pieces of soul!
And your Sundays are not on sale. 🎨💛
