Visiting Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe, situated next to the famous St Albans Clock Tower, is just like travelling back in time to a yesteryear when traditional sweet shops were packed with colourful Bon Bons, and more than 500 other varieties of confectionary, all designed to attract customers of all ages!
The shelves are overflowing with every conceivable variety of fudge, toffee, liquorice, candy sticks and chocolates you could possible imagine.
The store contains a double glass counter area packed with Pick 'N' Mix' favourities including Love Hearts and Cola Bottles, while behind the counter are displayed over 250 varieties of traditional sweets.
Mr Simms also stock a vast array of retro sweets including Refreshers, Fry's Chocolate Cream bars and Newberry Fruits all almost impossible to locate in a standard confectionary store.
At the luxury end of the scale, you will also find displays of Mr Simms own recipe chocolate bars and fudges.
For those with diabetic issues, we also stock an extensive sugar-free range of chocolate bars, confectionary' liquorice, jelly sweets and mints plus a full glutton-free range!
