Come along to the Country Market stall in St Albans for top-notch cakes, biscuits, sausage rolls, pies, tarts, quiches, Indian food, chutneys, pickles and jams! We're an ex-Women's Institute stall selling at St Albans Farmers' Market, and as well as our delicious sweet treats some stallholders (there are about eight of us in total) make and sell crafty bits too - greeting cards, pottery, knitwear,

aprons, and even 'Madeira bags'! Try Carole's famous cheese scones, Julie's legendary Bourbon carrot cake, Charlotte miraculous fat-free and no added sugar Molly, or Ruby's timeless fruit tea loaf, all at bargain prices, and all made in home kitchens in and around St Albans. We also offer a gluten-free range. Our (literally) jam-packed stall is at the St Albans Farmers' Market (held every second Sunday of the month), opposite M&S and next to the cheese man... see you soon!

Market day tomorrow! Fingers crossed for a fine day with no rain or wind. We will be there near Pret in St Albans with our bakes and preserves, plus our art tent will be with us too, selling original paintings and cards. Come and see what we have to offer.

February is here so St Albans Country Market is coming out of hibernation at last for our first market of the year. We’ll be in our usual spot outside Pret, selling cakes, cookies and preserves. Come and see us!

So we made it to December! Our last market of the year is on Sunday, so we will be offering our usual delicious homemade bakes and preserves, plus some special offerings for the Christmas table, or to give as gifts.

We will also be joined by the artists in the art tent offering a range of original paintings and cards. If you’re still looking for a special gift for someone come and see what we have to offer.

We should be in our usual pitch outside Pret, near Marks and Spencer’s.

Many thanks to all our customers who have supported us throughout the year. We wish you a very happy holiday season and a peaceful New year. We will be back in February.

Here we are again - farmers’ market in St Albans on Sunday and our Country Markets stall will be in town outside Pret selling a great range of delicious homemade cakes, cookies, jams, chutneys, and pickles. Since Christmas is zooming towards us now is a good time to be getting your Christmas preserves and cakes; they make great gifts. We will also be offering craft items such as cards and knitwear.

Here we are again! Farmers’ market on Sunday in St Albans and the Country Market art tent will be in town, but not the food tent unfortunately. We have a shortage of members able to bake for us so we are unable to run out the produce tent this month.

The art tent will be offering a range of original watercolours, and acrylics, plus cards. It’s never too soon to shop for Christmas!

If you or anyone you know is a good baker, and would like to join us, do ask us about how you become a member.

We’re back! After a month or two away on a break, our stall will be back at the St Albans Farmers’Market on Sunday selling delicious homemade cakes, cookies and preserves. We should be at our usual pitch outside Pret and near M and S.
We are still hoping to recruit a new producer to join our team to replace one of our members who retires at the end of this year. If you’re a keen baker or you like making preserves, and would like to find out more please ask us for more details.
