St James’s (Charles Gouyn) scent bottle circa 1755, modelled as a lady in yellow drapery reading from a classical clock dial set into a rose bush. Winged Cupid and Dalmatian dog seated on a marble ground.

New to the market Georgian gold mounted double ended Jasperware scent bottle decorated with putti, children and sleeping dog. From the Hicks Beach Estate, Williamstrip, Coln St Alwyn, Glos, home of the family seat from 1788. The bottle has been dipped (as opposed to being coloured throughout) which dates it after 1777.
