A huge thank you to Porthpean Sailing Club for hosting such a wonderful Afternoon Tea on Saturday, raising funds for both Cornwall Hospice and Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer will be absolutely over the moon with the £325 donation! 🥰 We know that funds were also raised for Cornwall Hospice, another incredibly important local charity.

On behalf of Teens Unite, I’d especially like to thank everyone who helped, and Isobel for all your hard work in organising such a wonderful afternoon. And a huge thank you to everyone who baked the most delicious cakes!! 🧁🎂🍰🍩🍪 They were absolutely amazing, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them! 😋

Thank you too to all the crafters who supported the event, everyone who came along and bought from us, and to all those who made such generous donations. Your support really does make a difference. 💕

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer supports young people aged 13–24 who are going through cancer treatment, helping to make what is an incredibly difficult time just that little bit easier. From practical support to memorable experiences and opportunities to connect with others going through similar experiences, like Tabs, they are there when young people need them most. 🧡🩷🧡

Porthpean beach cafe had 200 eclipse sunglasses for sale at 11am. I've been in the queue for 30 mins behind 200 people and they've sold out. However!! Great news!! Another 400 are coming over from Meva asap... so if you need some you know where to come! ☺️ X

What an amazing week I’ve had at ! 🎏🪇🪗🎭✨

Music, singing, festival stalls, children’s entertainment and dancing everywhere you go… in the gardens, along the seafront, in the town square and spilling out of the pubs! 🎶💃🕺

It’s been wonderful to catch up with my lovely craft show buddies again 🥰💑 and to meet so many new people along the way! I’ve also loved seeing familiar faces, including those of you who have joined me at my workshops at ! 🫂🤗

A huge thank you to my Mum & Dennis for having me to stay — and for keeping me fuelled with a packed lunch every day! 😂🥪🫖❤️ You’re absolute stars!

I also had a lovely night staying with my gorgeous friends Fliss & Rog. Thank you both for making me feel so welcome… and for the meal and refreshments! 🍾🥂☺️🫶

It was wonderful to have a surprise visit from our lovely friends Kylie & Steph. My sis Hayley came to help twice and a visit from my Nephew , beautiful Liz and baby Max and help from Graham on Friday, was the icing on the cake! 🫶💘🍥

This festival manages to surprise me every year, but this year has been extra special. I sold so much stock that I actually had to make a dash back to Cornwall to restock… and, of course, to see my hubby too! 💑🩷

And after 6 years of trading at Sidmouth Folk Festival, I can honestly say this has been my best year yet! 🥰🎉

Thank you for another incredible week, for all the wonderful people I’ve met, and for supporting my little business year after year.
Already looking forward to next year! 💙🌊✨

☕️🧁 AFTERNOON TEA BY THE SEA! 🌊💙
We’d love to see you at Porthpean Sailing Club on Saturday 15th August, from 1.30pm – 4.30pm, for a very special Afternoon Tea! 🫖🍰

This is a charity event raising money for Cornwall Hospice and Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, two charities doing such incredibly important work.

Teens Unite is particularly close to our hearts, as they supported our beautiful niece Tabs, who sadly lost her battle with cancer aged just 18, 20 months ago. 💗 Their support meant so much to Tabs and to all of us as a family, so it’s a real privilege to be supporting them through this lovely afternoon.

And of course… there’s plenty to look forward to! 😋
🧁 Delicious homemade cakes and Afternoon Tea
🎨 Lots of lovely craft stalls
🌊 My own resin gifts and seascape pieces will be there too!
☕️ Tea, cake and plenty of time for a good old catch-up
💙 A lovely atmosphere right by the sea
🤝 The perfect opportunity to meet old friends and make some new ones!

So grab a friend, come along, have a cuppa, eat some cake, browse the stalls and help us raise money for two wonderful causes. 💙

An amazing surprise to meet the moving giant today! The children loved him .. and so did I !!
Everyone he touched was given a card that read, "Every tree is a refuge; every bird, a messenger"

Certainly a festival day to remember! This week has been absolutely amazing!

What a wonderful few days I've had selling at the Sidmouth Folk Festival, in Blackmore Gardens, at the craft village and we have four more days to go yet! I made a journey back to Cornwall last night to restock! Come and say hello if you're here okay x
