Ok facebook Whats on my mind at 3am this morning....
Now there is a question....
So as you will all be aware, on completion of our 20th year in Par market, January this year, we were given a gift that keeps on giving.... one of the traders within the market was given the all clear via the market management to cross over from his lines to selling in direct competition with us... he has now dropped his original business and fully expanded his stall, yes They are cheaper than us, he has poured alot of money into trying to take away from our business. But we are still here smiling 😃 regardless.
Its been a tough year for both me and my family, not only within the market, but also within our personal lives, dealing with my disabled father and also our eldest son who is currently unwell and receiving chemotherapy, I may not be quite myself at times and we are both trying to put on a brave face, but at times it is hard to cope with all this going on in our lives. Those who know me/us I want to thank you all for the love and support you have given us both.
We will try to continue to trade in par market for as long as we can.
But maybe its time for a change in direction for us. Who knows what the future holds, only time will tell...
If you love our shop and want us to continue then stick with us. If not thats ok too... which ever...
I like to think people shop with people they like, I know I do, but also understand things are tight financially for a lot of people, so I do understand buying cheaper elsewhere is a necessity, but if you can support us and want a service that is more than cheap items,, we are both here for all our customers big or small, old or new.... a smile and a chat is always welcome, this is more than just business to us, this is community, friendship, an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on when life gets tough.
On that note Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the last 20 years its been a journey... is this the final destination probably not... 🤔 with all the uncertainty in the world right now who knows where any of us will be, come 2027 and beyond.
To all the good souls out there we Love you all... hang in there, you are beautiful people.
