Caron has been busy in the kitchen today creating some beautiful and tasty dishes 🫜

One of her favourite lunches on our menu is the very summery pickled carrot, red onion and hummus on toasted sourdough 🥕 We can confirm it’s delicious!

Unpacked at the cheese counter today comes Tomme de Chambrouze - and it’s looking extra delicious 🧀

It was described in the Mons Cheesemongers tasting notes as ‘nigh on perfect this week’ and Deli Manager Kim agrees! It’s beautifully fluffy with a fresh, mineral quality.

Rosamund was away on the West Coast reading ‘Exit Party’(published 17th Sept). She was excited to be back in the head of creative genius Emily St. J. Mandel 🌊

Vicky was enjoying ‘Captains’s Dinner’ by Adam Cohen (published 13th August) with a cheeky negroni. One of her favourite drinks and a favourite genre, what a combination! 🥃📚

New to our Deli comes .farm Cold Pressed Camelina Oil!

Camelina oil is full of Omega-3, unsaturated fats and antioxidants with a fresh nutty flavour. It's great for cooking or in salads. As if this wasn't enough to make the move to this delicious oil, it's also made from camelina that's grown (without sprays) on their family farm in East Lothian.

We love our beautiful FieldDay Ireland Candles candles and diffusers, they all smell divine. So we are excited to try out their new natural home sprays!

You will find them in our Home Department and they come in six wonderful scents:

Rain - drenched grass and petrichor
Peat - rich earth and dark oudh
Forage - woodlands and ripe fig
Wander - blackberry and tomato leaf
Belong - flowering gorse and honey
Kin - lush stems and wild violets

🌞 It's warm out there today, so we thought we would share with you some of our favourite dishes for hot summer days.

Nina has gone for the Coconut, Cumin and Marmalade Fennel Salad from the beautiful 'Centre Piece' by Helen Graham (we can't look through this book without getting hungry!) 🌴

Helen chose a delicious Roasted Peach and Burrata Salad from our cookbook of the month, 'Medesque' by 🍑

Jen loves watermelon so went with the Watermelon Fattoush from 'Very Good Salads' by Shuki Rosenboim and Lousia Allan of Very Good Falafel 🍉

Kim stuck to a summertime classic and went with the mouth watering Ultimate Burger from 'Fired Up' by Melissa Thompson 🍔

Vicky was only ever going to pick from one of Sophie Macfie's books and chose the Loaded 'Parmesan' Chickpea Caesar Salad from '30 in 30'

Bryony hasn't stopped thinking about the Smashed Cucumber, Radish and Olive Salad from 'Medesque' by since Nina made it in the café! 🫒
