The defining documentary about the legendary Swedish punk band Anti-Cimex. Jawbreaker depicts Anti Cimex – the band that shaped Scandinavian hardcore punk and became one of Sweden’s most influential musical exports. From raw recordings in a chicken coop on the plains of Västergötland to punk scenes around the world, the film follows a band whose uncompromising energy and political charge continue to resonate.
Through archive material, international perspectives, and a dreamy, humorous tone, directors Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin paint a portrait of a musical legacy that still packs a punch!
