It’s been a while… and this post is waaaay overdue. Little Freddie arrived on the 1st of February and to say the last 10 weeks has flown by is an understatement. Couldn’t be more in love with our little cuddle bum 💚
Wanted to say a 👋🏻 hello and a Happy Easter weekend to everyone ☀️

We never did do that sale we intended to host before pausing for maternity leave as daft old me thought it was a good idea to book in some home improvements and the plan went a bit to 💩 🤣

The shop is still paused for now - but it’s spring and time to get excited for new growth and all things plants so when I can I will post any good plant bargains I see when out shopping with baby Fred xx

It’s Market Day this Sunday!
10th October 10am - 3pm

⛅️ the weather so far is looking like a nice autumnal day.
🍁 There’ll be all the usual… food, crafts, gifts, and we’ll be there with a selection of houseplants and pots.
🐾 🎃 the dog barn has a Halloween show on with dog classes and fancy dress so bring along your doggies - our two will be coming in their Halloween outfits

A small fee of £1 for car parking on the day. Hope to see you there 👀

This will be our last Inglenook Market of 2021 but we will be back as soon as markets resume in 2022!
With COVID, the availability of antenatal parenting classes is limited and unfortunately the one we’ve managed to book onto clashes with November and Decembers market…. but I really need to learn how to take care of small humans as well as plants 🤣💚

We’ll still be doing deliveries and we are planning some offers on the weekends we normally do markets to make it up to you 😘

Not really a plant related post… ☺️ but we have some news that will affect the running of Plant Hut in 2022 - we are expecting a baby at the end of January! 👶🏻
Thing will continue to run as normal up until early January 🤞🏻 at which point we will temporarily pause the shop just until we’ve got the hang of things.

Can we just also say a big thank you to you all for supporting Plant Hut from orders, online support and market days 💚 some of you may already know I was a science teacher. I left teaching to work with my husband a couple of years after being diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis in 2016. It’s given me the ability to get my health right through surgery/meds and not experience the teacher guilt we all have the minute life gets in the way.

Plant Hut was started more as a hobby to give me a little bit of my own interests back since I gave up a job I loved. So thank you for keeping me sane 💚 we got there in the end and couldn’t be more thrilled about our baby news.

Lastly, if anyone suffers or suspects they may have endometriosis I can thoroughly recommend the charity Endometriosis UK 💗 And of course, my inbox is always open for anyone just needing to chat.

We’ll be doing something plant related to fundraise for Endo UK in the near future 👍🏼
