Well… today’s plans went out the window thanks to the weather 😂🌧️

So me and hubby bundled the kids off to the transport museum instead 🚍

Obviously Harry made a new best friend in someone who worked there within about 5 minutes 😂 which somehow ended with us getting to go onto buses we weren’t normally allowed on!

And because we wanted to make it a bit more fun than just walking around looking at old buses… obviously I made a sheet 😂📋

They searched, answered questions and even worked together… to some extent 😂

Our three little Harmelia product testers have already given us a list of changes too 👀😂

Not the Sunday we planned, but a pretty good one in the end ❤️

Today’s job: the eldest’s first high school uniform shop 😭

And I’m sorry… when did we get here?!

One minute they’re tiny and you’re labelling absolutely everything because somehow they can lose a jumper in 0.4 seconds… and now we’re buying HIGH SCHOOL uniform 🥹

She’s excited. I’m emotional. My bank account would rather not discuss it 😂

Just another one of those little family moments that feels very ordinary at the time, but actually feels really bloody big. ❤️

Tonight our summer planner told us it was pizza night 🍕

And this is exactly why I need a planner — not because we’re organised, but because otherwise I’d have absolutely no idea what we were doing 😂

We went all in and made them from scratch. Dad tackled the dough, the kids got involved… Mum got overwhelmed, there was some shouting and Dad restored order 😂

Not exactly the wholesome pizza night I’d pictured 👀

But once we finally sat down?

The pizzas were bloody lovely. 😂🍕

A little chaotic, not perfect, but we did it. 🤎

It’s 31 degrees.
We’re surviving, not thriving.

The kids asked to go to the park?

Absolutely not. 😂
That slide is approximately 400 degrees and Mum will not be participating.

Today’s diet consists of approximately:
💧 50% water
🍦 50% ice cream

No crafts. No wholesome summer activities. No guilt.

Prayers go out to every parent currently trying to stop their children from melting, arguing or asking “what are we doing today?” 🫠

Harmelia’s official activity of the day: stay cool and make it to bedtime. 💗

No calm morning routine here. Just two parents tag-teaming the chaos and somehow getting everyone out the door.

🌷 Welcome to Harmelia

Family life is beautiful. It’s also absolute chaos sometimes. 😂☕️

Between work, school runs, childcare, washing mountains, “Muuuum!”, “Daaad!” and figuring out what everyone’s eating… we’re all just doing our best to muddle through.

In our house, we’re juggling work, marriage and three children. I work late four days a week while my husband holds down the fort at home — some weeks we’ve got it, and some weeks we’re basically passing the parenting baton at the front door. 😂

Harmelia was born during a time when family life felt a little heavier, and I realised I didn’t need more pressure to have it all figured out. I needed things that made life easier.

An activity for the “I’m bored!” moments.
A little shortcut that saves your sanity.
A simple way to make an ordinary day feel special.

Or just another parent saying:

“I’ve got something that might help — I’ll send you it.” 🌷
