We’re getting ready for a busy pumpkin-picking weekend, with THOUSANDS of clean, freshly picked pumpkins out on the field, waiting for you to choose your favourite! 🎃

A huge THANK YOU to Richard and the team at Rainfords for choosing to support Willowbrook Hospice. Local businesses supporting their local hospice really does mean so much to us and helps us continue caring for people and families across our community.

🎃 And there couldn't be a better time to visit Rainfords Farm!

Their 2026 Pumpkin Picking season is now underway, with tens of thousands of homegrown pumpkins in all sorts of colours, shapes, and sizes to choose from. General pumpkin picking requires no booking, there is no entry fee, and parking is free. Pumpkin season is planned to run from 26 September throughout October.

🌲 And, of course, Rainfords is famous locally for its wonderful Christmas trees!
This five-generation family farm has been selling Christmas trees for nearly 50 years, and 2026 marks a very special 50 years of Rainfords Christmas Trees. Alongside their homegrown trees, the farm has developed into a real seasonal destination, with pumpkins, wreaths and garlands, logs, and firewood, and plenty of festive magic. []

Our October Weekend Markets begin this weekend! 🍂💗

Join us at Rainfords Farm for a carefully selected mix of independent stallholders, handmade products, treats, gifts and more.

🍂 STALLHOLDERS WANTED -ADDITIONAL OCTOBER DATES 🍂

Following the lovely response to our recent markets, we’re adding six small indoor market dates at Rainfords Farm:

Saturday 10 October
Sunday 11 October
Saturday 17 October
Sunday 18 October
Saturday 24 October
Sunday 25 October

Pitches are £25 per day, indoors and a maximum of 3m wide.

We’ll have just six stalls each day and will carefully select a varied mix, so we cannot accommodate duplicate stall types on the same date.

Monday 5–Saturday 10 October: 10am–5pm
Sunday 11 October: 10am–4pm

Weekdays: 10am–6pm
Saturdays: 10am–5pm
Sundays: 10am–4pm

🎃 Last carving starts one hour before closing, so please arrive in plenty of time to enjoy it.

We’re open 10am–4pm every Sunday throughout the festival.

wow what a busy weekend we had, beautiful sunshine, 1000”s of customers lovely to see everyone, customers old and new!

clean pumpkin picking proves to be most popular, however we will still be doing dirty!
