🎉 10 YEARS OF MADEFOR.LIVING 🎉
Ten years ago, in 2016, the founders of what is now known as Madefor.Living began with two men, a van and one clear ambition: to get their new business off the ground and make it a success.
They started by selling restocked and seconds garden furniture, working hard to build the foundations of the business we know today.
When Covid arrived, the future felt uncertain. Despite the challenges and worrying times ahead, they kept going, welcomed new members of staff and successfully made it through to the other side.
From there, the Madefor.Living family was born.
As life returned to normal, we spotted a gap in the market. It required one big gamble—but we took it, and the rocket began its launch!
As the business grew, so did our team. More people joined the family, and we’re incredibly proud that many of them are still with us today.
We’re not going to pretend that the journey has always been perfect, because it hasn’t. There have been challenges, lessons and plenty of ups and downs. However, our vision has remained the same: to be the best we can be and bring our customers good-quality products at fair prices.
As they say, every day is a school day—and we’re still learning, improving and looking for ways to do things better.
So, with all that said, happy 10th birthday to us! 🥳
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has purchased from us, supported us or been part of our journey over the past ten years.
We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.
This week, we’ll celebrate with our 10-year party, surrounded by colleagues old and new, family and friends.
We’ll reflect on everything we’ve achieved—and, knowing us, there will probably be a meeting at some point to discuss the next big ideas!
