Festive Christmas

Rest in peace, thank your for all your years of service. May your family take comfort in knowing how much this nation loved and respected her majesty. 🫂

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM SANTA.

Hi Boys and girls, I believe some of you are worried that I might not make it to your home this Christmas eve due to the Covid virus.

Please don't worry I have clearance from every country and myself and all my Reindeer are all fit and well.

Due to all the restrictions in the work place some of my elves have not been able to help in my workshop, also we cannot get all of the materials to produce all of the toys you have asked for. We are working as hard as we can, but some toys will not be ready.

If you do not get everything you asked for it is not because you have not been very good, in fact you have all behaved excellent during these tough times. It is because unfortunately I can not have them by Christmas, some of you may get what you asked for, but if your sister, brother or friend does not please be kind to them as I know they will be disappointed.

Everyone will get presents and if its not exactly what you asked for I hope you understand.

So stay safe, keep up the good work and I will see you all on Christmas eve but you will be asleep so you won't see me.

Tell your Mum and dad's to share with their friends so every child knows I will be at their home for Christmas.
