I highly recommend Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World by Joanna Weaver. This book beautifully explores the story of Mary and Martha from the Bible and reminds us of the importance of balancing life with a heart that is deeply connected to Jesus.
As someone who often finds themselves busy with responsibilities, helping others, and trying to meet everyone’s needs, I found this book both encouraging and challenging. Joanna Weaver gently reminds us that spending time in His presence should always come first. She shows that we don’t have to choose between being like Mary or Martha—we can faithfully serve while keeping our hearts centred on Christ.
