We are David and Miranda, and together with our two children, we live and work in the beautiful seaside town of St Ives, Cornwall. We adore our hometown, from its cobbled streets and crystal-clear harbour to its sandy beaches and vibrant local culture. What started during lockdown as a fun homemade family game to remind us of sunny days and bustling harbourside strolls has grown into a full range of original Cornish gifts, designed and illustrated by us, right here by the sea!

Pinch punch first of the month! Wow what a lovely day it is today in St Ives. Apparently we are getting this amazing weather due to storms far out in the Atlantic.

The waves on Porthmeor are incredible so the little car park is packed full of surfing vans. I always wonder what jobs people have that allow them to surf on a random Thursday morning.

Good morning from St Ives. It’s a lovely sunny day and the town feels quieter than last week. The St Ives September festival is over for another year. Not long till the October school holidays though. Lots of schools down here are getting 2 weeks off 😳 Is it just some schools in Cornwall or do others get this too?

On a separate note, has anyone else got this awful awful cold? It’s too early in the year for this, it’s like a proper depths of winter curling up under a blanket with a lemsip one 🤧 I’m trying to blast away the germs with some good old vitamin sea 🌊
