🕰️ The three clocks are finally coming together.

Ebony, koa and rosewood faces, each paired with a solid maple body and their own unique shaped base. The 10° angle gives each clock a subtle tilt, while the different feet give every piece its own character. 🪵✨

Three individual clocks, all made for the same charity raffle — and each one will go to a different winner. ❤️

🕰️ Two more clock faces taking shape on the CNC, carved from beautiful ebony and koa. 🪵✨

The bodies are made from solid maple, and a third clock with a rosewood face will complete the collection.

All three clocks will be part of the same charity raffle, but each clock will be raffled separately — giving three different people the chance to take home one of these unique pieces. ❤️

More to come as the final clock takes shape…

🕰️ Carving the clock faces in solid walnut for a couple of new clocks. Alongside the usual design, I also made a new round version this time. Love seeing the details come together as the carving takes shape. 🪵✨

🕰️ Back in the workshop making a few more clocks.

This batch includes the classic design alongside a brand new round version, all CNC carved from solid maple and finished by hand.

Every piece starts as a simple block of wood and is crafted with care from start to finish. 🌳✨

A new addition to the collection.

Solid maple body, koa face, maple hands and markers, finished with a hidden magnetic base that holds the clock at a 10° angle.

🕰️ A desk clock, from start to finish.

Carved from a solid block of mahogany, the case has a deep, warm grain that gives the clock its rich presence. Maple hour markers punctuate the face, and the hands were cut from the same pale wood to echo the dial with crisp contrast. After assembly, the clock was sealed with shellac and finished with a light beeswax polish, lending it a gentle luster and a layer of protection without obscuring the wood’s natural character.

From raw stock to a finely finished desk clock, every detail was made to endure.

Took it from a basic 7-segment display to a full TFT upgrade.
Now it boots with a custom animation while the ESP32 connects to WiFi, syncs data in the background, and then loads a live UI with logo, signal strength, and real-time stats.
All in all nice maple box!
Prototype phase… and yes, I like making my life difficult.

The full build is finally here 👀

What started as a few pieces of maple, some electronics and an idea has turned into a working follower tracker 🪵⚙️📈

This project pushed me well outside my comfort zone at times, but that’s part of the fun.

Thanks to everyone who followed along with the build and tried to guess what it was 😅

Now let’s see if we can get that 5th digit working… 😉
