A little update from the very tired people behind Green + Grounded… 😂🌿
The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind.
350+ people through our workshops.
4 cities.
Sunderland → London.
3 weddings.
And one extremely intimate wedding on Saturday. 😂
We’ve also already sold 35% of our Christmas wreath workshop spaces — which is slightly terrifying considering we’re still trying to get over summer. 😂
And honestly… we’re exhausted.
Because the workshops, weddings and events are the exciting bit. What you don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes to make them happen — the planning, ordering, emails, packing, loading, driving, setting up, cleaning up, floristry, admin… and then getting back to the shop and doing it all again.
Keeping an independent shop busy takes a LOT of work.
But we’re incredibly grateful.
We’re also so lucky to call Stanley Square home, surrounded by some genuinely brilliant independent businesses — shops, salons, Pilates, gyms, restaurants and so many more.

Every purchase, coffee, class, haircut, meal and visit really does make a difference.
We’re exhausted… but very, very grateful.
