I am looking for two new freelancers to join my team to cover maternity leave starting from the end of October to end of January with the possibility to extend your contract depending on our growth 🌱🐦📦
Starting hours 12 hours up to 30+ hours depending on Flock & Gaggles sales performance.
Unfortunately DMs won’t be answered relating to the role based on previous experience.
This is ultimately a flexible freelance customers service role with added things to do to help the business thrive to help fund more hours for you… so we are looking for someone who is passionate about the growth and a people person who can work in a neurodivergent team.
I knowwww it sounds a lot, but in the interest of being as transparent as possible, working for an independent business has a lot of hats to wear to survive 🧢🎩👒🎓⛑️

October has arrived, and spooky season is officially underway at Flock and Gaggle 🐦🐦🐦🍁🍂🎃
Our October guide is here, packed with things to do around Salford, MediaCity and Manchester — from crafty afternoons and creative workshops to family days out, cosy plans, self-care and a few very good excuses to get out and about this month. 🎃

Happy International Coffee Day! ☕️🍰
Here at Flock, people are still surprised to find out that we proudly serve coffee from an independent, female-owned local roastery — Passionfruit Coffee Roastery. 🫘 🫘🫘🫘🫘
Chen supplies us with the beans, we supply you with delicious coffee, a big old gab and a safe, soft place to sit, sip and shop for a while. 💖☕️💖
We serve coffee throughout our opening hours, right up until 4pm, whether you fancy sitting in and staying a while or grabbing a takeaway for your day.
We’ve got alternative milk options available too, and if you really want to make a good thing even better, you can pair your coffee with a delicious slice of cake. 🍰
So, if you’re in need of a good coffee, a little browse and somewhere lovely to slow down for a bit, come and see us.

Our new space is taking a lot longer than we EVER imagined possible to come a reality! Soooo while we can’t start building our new nest yet.. or even get a few twigs here and there… let’s start refining the brand assets… 🎨💅🏻🐦✨

I really enjoy using these colours and so I really feel these will be the perfect palette for Flock & Gaggle. These will be the colours used for any new possible murals too! 💖🖌️

Although I LOVE LOVE these I think they are tooooo Nicola Fernandes and too complex for logo elements? What do you think?!

Keeping it simple for me isn’t an easy task… the temptation for detail is too seductive and alluring…. 😩

However there is ALOT of fun to be had with just a little guy!

I think there is a lot of scope for play and adaptations overtime with this little birdy logo.
Maybe some nice Flock merch in the future 🧢🛍️

Obviously there will *always* be some added characters I’ll throw in to the mix! I’m enjoying creating my little monthly guides atm which will soon reveal a much bigger project I’m procastinating on… since two years ago! 👀😅🫠 Thanks for scrolling along! ✨💖🐦🪱
