Artist run shop project selling original one of a kind work. Formerly known as One of One, now known as Odd Bod Art Market

One Of One is a cross disciplinary platform that functions as both an exhibition and shop environment; it is pop up and transient by nature, and the focus is on one off pieces and artworks. It is a space where art and design meet and collaborate. Where designers can experiment with new materials, forms and techniques with a freedom from functionality and without having to consider production on a large scale. It is also an opportunity for artists to experiment with making “useful” products for consumption as well as editions that don't have the pressure of being identical and where variations, accidents and individuality are encouraged. We are interested in ideas that are at a stage where form, material and technique is able to play a bigger role in decision making, and practical factors such as time spent and material costs and availability is less important. It is a space for experimentation, testing and play, in both the artwork produced and the curation, installation and layout of the space. As well as an unintimidating space for consumers who support designers and artists yet don't necessarily see themselves as or would identify as art collectors. One of One is created and curated by Caroline Dowsett, Aliyah Hussain, Mariel Osborn and Stina Puotinen.
