Easy like a Sunday morning!

Gentle start to the day here at number five after yesterday's fun.

Lots of new titles have been added to the racks already today, plenty of jazz titles too, plus a nice collection of rock albums and more than 100 CDs.

We're open today Sunday as usual, but having a rare day off on Bank Holiday Monday!

Top of the UK singles charts 60 years ago this week?

Manfred Mann with "Pretty Flamingo" was enjoying the second of it's three week run at the summit.

Lovin' Spoonful's "Daydream" had hit the number two spot the previous week, but would go no higher.

Meanwhile, The Beach Boys were sailing up to the number three position with their impressive reworking of The Kingston Trio's "Sloop John B".
