☀️ A little bit of magic on South Street yesterday…

Did anyone else spot the beautiful eclipse shadows dancing across the front of No.31 Hairdressers yesterday? 🌙✨

We caught this view from across the road at Happybara and had to stop for a moment and take it in. The little crescent shapes of light covering the building were just beautiful.

With another very hot week upon us, we hope all our fellow Wilton Indies — and everyone out and about supporting them — are managing to keep somewhat cool and find your own little moments like this to enjoy!

A few week ago was the Annual Wilton Carnival which was amazing! 🤩

💃Carnival Day!🕺
It’s a great day to have a carnival, the weather is warm and dry. We can’t wait to see the procession which starts at 1pm from the Market Square, Wilton.
The theme this year is ‘Out of this World’.

engagewilton is having its first lunchtime concert tomorrow at 12pm in the Old St Mary’s Church on the Market Square, Wilton. If you are available then please come and join Bob Primmer in celebrating singer songwriters of the 60’s & 70’s.

Also worth a visit whilst out & about in Wilton is the Market & all of our wonderful independent shops, cafes & pubs!

I believe anyone visiting Wilton town can use the Park&Ride and catch a bus into town. Parking is very limited due to the Market being on.

Our very own Andrew Payne, independent business owner of The Courtyard Marketplace Wilton, has won 1st Prize in the Wilton Wonders Photo Competition held by Wilton Town Council. For something that started out as a hobby 📸 is now being recognised as a true talent!

🎞️ He also has his photos for sale, as greetings cards & prints 🖼️ , in his shop & contributes to the Wilton Indies social pages with photos of the town. He will soon be doing a segment on this page called ‘Where in Wilton’ so make sure you keep your eyes out for that and join in by commenting with your guesses.
