Reason to be Cheerful No 87: (Not including ecstatic over Green Party success): The first proper froglets AT LAST, in the holding tank. Strangely, it's some of the smallest tadpoles that have turned into froglets.... And, immediately I put in a climbing out ladder, one little critter was climbing out... hope he survives the big bad world! The baby you can see to the middle left of the picture is about 5mm long!

REASON TO BE CHEERFUL No:85. I can't believe my last Reason to be Cheerful was in October last year. What terrible times - devastated that the Labour Party is turning its back on any and every policy that would tackle inequality and environmental decline. But here's something about which I am very cheerful... I went on a specialist basket-making course to learn how to create a Zarzo basket... a beautiful and creative style from Spain I'd never seen until a few weeks ago. Here's the pictures of my efforts. One was made under the fantastic tutelage of Brian and Nicki Rowling at Willow and Yoga, and one on my own at home. I suspect you'll be able to tell which is which but I'm pretty happy with both of them!
