I have made so many spaniel tea light holders now, show cockers, working cockers. Springers, Sussex, Clumbers, Field and more.and I have loved them all. But between you and me, the Cavalier King Charles is always my favourite 🖤

It’s a down day, so obviously I made something. Anything but do nothing! My first go at a little lampshade, just 15 x 15cm with velvet trim using my design Fetch & Folly.
How does anyone do steady hand, professional looking videos?!

Swallows, messengers of hope, loyalty, renewal and a safe return home.
It’s almost if that verdigris copper swallow in the first photo was made for that beautiful mantle piece. Thank you to the owner for the gorgeous photo. The two copper swallows in the second photo are mine and I’m not letting them go. They come as a pair on an almost invisible thread but their attachment is strong.
Hoping to make a couple more out of what is left of the recycled copper I have in at the moment. I’ll let you know in my Stories if I do, just in case you’re interested x

Fake Friday! We call it so because the lovely husband works away on a Thursday and so it is greatly exciting when he comes home late in the evening.
I also have my lovely Mother visiting soon so it has been Tidy up Thursday (I actually called it something unprintable). So here is my kitchen. It always looks like that (don’t look at the floor, I ran out of time….. I said, don’t look!). As always Great Aunt Ebble labrador keeps a close eye on us from her spot near the kitchen sink 🖤 I can hear her sighing now at all our antics. She was always the sensible one.

Not a dog! Cat for scale, sort of, actually does not work at all but regardless, just look at those model curves and fabulous smile! These Heron’s in Love belong to a lovely customer. I can always make more. In fact there is a whole non dog, lovely things for the garden section on my website. All designed and made by me. Just saying…. Off now to find the Dreamies to pay the model before she does something heinous !

How observant are you? Me? Apparently not very much! I bought this lovely lady in an auction years ago for a few pounds and have always loved her. She has featured fairly often in the background of product photos. That is until a message stopped me in my tracks! It went something like this… ‘love the Deer and the racy background especially’. What?! I’m ashamed to say I had to ask them to spell it out. Turns out the pretty dress only covers up one half of her….👀 Mildly horrified but also hugely amused, I asked my husband what he saw… he immediately mentioned she was only half dressed. He’d always known, it was just me…. I feel very smug though, because I have only noticed her lovely face 🤣

How things went this week in seven slides.

With love and thanks to all those who bought my copper creations, I just have a four little swallows of love left (like the one Buddy is wearing). Thanks also to Heads or Tails Pet/Dog ID Tags and Amanda|Natural Dog Treats| Personalised Dog Boxes|Eco Packaging for the retail therapy and joy you gave me and Buddy. And a special thanks to the Charities Pug Life Rescue Team Edward Labrador Rescue and Project Galgo for doing the amazing work you do. Please support them if you can. So happy to have raised a little money for them, wish it was more.

I love so much the gardens at Iford Manor near Bath and it’s possible that my latest wallpaper designs were a little influenced by them….

How could you not have loved this divine little creature with all your heart and soul? 🧡

It’s been 5 days, 6 hours and 30 minutes since she passed unexpectedly and I can feel every second of that because every second that she is not here brings me so much sorrow. She was not just a dog. she was my absolute treasure and joy, a bringer of endless love, who was with me always, everywhere.

I will always be amazed at how she bounced back from a shockingly awful first 7 years in a Welsh Puppy Farm. This little dog, despite knowing nothing of the outside world, embraced it with both paws. Her love of life from the get go, of all of us, was incredible. I am honoured to have been part of her life since 2019, so grateful to have known such a treasure, thankful that I know she knew such deep love and kindness from us, and will forever love and miss her.

I will find you one day Mini 🧡
