Time to start on spring and Mother’s Day with my sheep and lambs woodslice hanging decorations. I’m still thankful to Kat for the suggestion all those years ago ( when I was just making sheep in snow for Xmas )
This is the first time I’ve decorated a jam jar though 🤣

I’ve started making glass T-Lites ( 4 at a time in my tiny kiln.. so it’s a slow process 😆) I’m really rather pleased with them… especially the bee 🐝 Can you spot him?

I’m so lucky to have Salisbury Cathedral on my doorstep and last week I went on a two day stone carving course ( for those who missed yesterday’s story) It’s like another world inside the Cathedral Close and we even had blue skies on Thursday!
It was an amazing experience and our stone mason tutor Carol was inspirational, kind and patient. If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend it ⚒️

Hello again !! I’ve made some chunky braided cord baskets with pretty little crochet flower embellishments on some and coconut buttons on others. Thrilled to say I sold one at Wiltshire Makers Salisbury yesterday before I got a price tag on it 🌸🌼🌸🌼 So I’ve ordered more cord and I’m going to continue making… in the hope that it won’t be my first and last sale 😉

On my work bench today …
I am making up pendants, cufflinks, studs and dangly earrings. SCROLL to see before firing and after firing pics. No disasters ( or opportunities ) this time! I programmed the kiln correctly and didn’t overfill my kiln shelf… so I’m very pleased.
