As Record Store Day 2026 gets ever closer just wanted to go over a couple things!
Just a few more sleeps to get to Saturday 18th April

If you were with us last year you'll remember how the process works and we'll be doing the same this year!
Queuing will start from the Market Square side of the Cross Keys - we'll come and say hello around 6am and start handing out lists to get it fresh in your mind!

Around 6:30-7am we'll open up the doors for queuing inside

8am we'll open up the shop and welcome you properly to Record Store Day!

All of of us are looking forward to it and hope you are too!

RSD2026 - Saturday 18th April!!

This year has some great titles that will be hitting Record Shops for Record Store Day!

As usual you'll be able to come in and let us know what you'll be interested in leading up to the day! We can't promise or pre-order anything but we can try our best to get titles in!

As usual the rules apply - one of each title per customer, no pre-ordering and we'll have more details leading up to the day about the centre and how it'll work this year!

We're having a sale!
Most the records from the past couple RSDs are going to be reduced in both stores and online from 5pm 29th January - well worth a look if there was maybe one or two you spotted that we may still have in stock!

Including; Blur, Judas Priest, Talking Heads, Prince, David Bowie and many more!

And if you can believe it, tomorrow is once again!

Tomorrow sees the releases and listening party for Florence + The Machine, we have the album on Red Vinyl, Blue Vinyl and on CD - a free poster for those attending the listening party, a tote bag for those who purchase the album and raffle to give away 2 fans!
The listening party begins at 3 pm!

Other new releases this week include the live album from Radiohead, the retail release (finally!!) Of Tyler, The Creator; Chromokopia, Cat Burns, The Charlatans, Jeff Tweedy, and more!

Reissues this week come from The Who - Who Are You halfspeed remaster, the Steven Wilson stereo mix of Frankie Goes to Hollywood; Welcome To The Pleasuredome, Fleetwood Mac's red sleeve Greatest Hits, the 50th Anniversary of Bohemian Rhapsody on a 12" Blue Vinyl (hopefully followed soon by the 7")

All these and more available from tomorrow in store, including the release of Kate Bush - Best Of The Other Sides, which should be with us tomorrow!
