If today proved anything then it proved that the Jelly Cat fever is still out there! I say this because I haven’t been a part of it for a while.
I’m sorry I’ve not been able to answer phones and messages. Being an independent also means the shop is run independently on a normal daily basis, and the speed with which today happened kept me on my toes!
So where are we now? Well the exclusive bunny sold in 25 minutes of arriving, all to walk in customers bar one, as has the Halloween bat.
My second delivery was a back to basic delivery. I haven’t had bunnies for such a long time so I for one am happy to see them return. Of course collectors will already have them, I heard that a lot today. But 20 years ago parents and grandparents bought these as a delightful, baby safe, comforter for their little ones. Long before the explosion we’ve seen over the past few years.
It remains to be seen if the interest is still there and I really hope it is, because the product is still the same after all these years.
For you collectors out there, my small Xmas order is on back order, and obviously if I could get my hands on any more of the exclusive then I would.
